The lot comprises a brown cardboard shipping box containing ten smaller black cardboard boxes, each designed to hold 25 shells. The outer shipping box is marked “FEDERAL,” “FEDERAL CARTRIDGE CO., 900 BOB EHLEN DR., ANOKA, MINNESOTA 55303, U.S.A.,” and “ASSEMBLED IN U.S. FROM U.S. AND FOREIGN COMPONENTS,” with a visible UN packaging code “4G/Y18.43/S/22 USA/M5718” and the number “L131047.” The individual black boxes feature an image of two flying doves and are marked “12 GAUGE,” “FEDERAL,” “LEAD FREE SHOT,” “25 STEEL UPLAND SHOTSHELLS,” and “ASSEMBLED IN THE USA.” Upon opening one of the smaller boxes, red plastic-hulled shells with brass-colored bases are visible, each imprinted with “FEDERAL UPLAND STEEL 6 – 1 1/8 oz 1400 FPS 2 3/4″ 70mm.” This is a modern sporting ammunition lot.
