This hammerless shotgun features steel barrels and receiver components, with a dark walnut wood stock and forend. The metal receiver plates exhibit stylized scrollwork or sunburst engraving. Visible markings include “LEFEVER ARMS CO SYRACUSE N.Y. U.S.A.”, the serial number “67292” (also found on the forend iron), and “H 12” indicating 12 gauge. Multiple patent dates ranging from 1879 to 1907 are present. The black butt plate bears a “JHS” monogram.
