This shotgun features blued steel barrels and a receiver with a mottled case-hardened finish. It is equipped with a single trigger and a top-break lever. The fore-end and buttstock are crafted from light-toned wood, shaped with a pistol grip, and fitted with a black rubber or plastic buttplate. Visible markings on the left side of the receiver read “STEVENS MODEL 311A,” “SAVAGE ARMS CORPORATION,” and “WESTFIELD, MASS. U.S.A.” The top barrel rib is marked “= SELECTED FORGED STEEL =,” and the left barrel specifies “PROOF TESTED 12 GAUGE” and “2 3/4 INCH CHAMBER.”
