Third Reich RZM SA dagger with a “RZM, M7/68 / 1941” marked steel blade for Tigerwerk Lauterjung & Co. of Solingen, dated 1941. The blade of this RZM SA Dagger exhibits visible cross graining, moderate runner marks, a few areas of staining, and areas of light freckling. Standard SA motto of “Alles fur Deutschland” is nicely executed on the blade. approx length is 8 5/8″ with a strong point, The Nickel-plated fittings retain excellent amounts of their plating, with light patina, scattered marks, and light to moderate finish bubbling which is more notable on the pommel fitting. Wood Handle in nice pre owned condition as seen in pictures (walnut color?) SA emblem and eagle are excellent with light patina. Both are tightly inset and appear original to the grip. This RZM SA Dagger comes with its steel scabbard that retains nearly all of its original brown painted finish, only exhibiting light scattered marks that are almost unnoticeable. Nickel-plated steel fittings retain almost all of their original finish with only light scattered marks that are barely detectable. Dagger has a notable tight fit to its scabbard. (no hangar) This is a very nice example of an RZM Dagger with Scabbard.
