A vintage Remington Model 10 12 Gauge pump-action shotgun, primarily constructed from blued steel and a dark, reddish-brown hardwood for the stock and distinctively grooved fore-end. Markings on the receiver and barrel clearly identify it as manufactured by “REMINGTON ARMS-UNION METALLIC CARTRIDGE CO. REMINGTON WORKS, ILION, NEW YORK, U.S.A.,” with patent dates of “FEBRUARY 3. 1903 AND MAY 16. 1905.” Additional visible marks include “REMINGTON UMC TRADE MARK,” “TRADE Remington MARK,” the serial number “77596,” and “FULL” indicating the choke. A modern black nylon sling is attached, and the buttplate is a textured black synthetic.
