The barrel is marked “SAVAGE M-25 17 HORNET CALIBER” and “SAVAGE ARMS INC. WESTFIELD, MA 01085 USA”, with the warning “BEFORE USE READ & UNDERSTAND OWNER’S MANUAL” and serial number “J191959”. It is fitted with a black optical scope, marked “POWERLINE 3-9X32”, which has a clear duplex reticle. A red and white circular decal on the buttstock displays “SAVAGE ARMS” and “ADJUSTABLE ACCUTRIGGER” around a Native American profile.
