Manufactured in Russia in 1940, it bears a prominent ‘1941’ date with a star within a shield, consistent with a Tula Arsenal mark. An importer mark “C.D.I. SWAN. VT” is present. The rifle features a varnished wooden stock and handguard, paired with blued steel components, including a perforated metal gas tube cover and a detachable box magazine.
