A group of three vintage precision beam balance scales, designed for ammunition reloading, exhibiting an industrial and utilitarian aesthetic. The scales feature painted cast metal bases in distinct green, turquoise, and red finishes, with steel or composite beams and various metal slider weights. The green scale is a Redding Master Powder and Bullet Scale, Model No. 2, marked “REDDING” and “GRAINS” on its beam. The turquoise scale is an RCBS 5-0-5 Scale, branded “RCBS” and featuring an “OUNCE TO GRAIN CONVERSION” table and “MANUFACTURED CHRONOS SCALE CORP.” information, also indicating “GRAINS” on its beam. The smaller red scale is a Lee Safety Powder Scale, marked “LEE” and “LEE PRECISION” with “J. GRAIN” and “GRAINS” on its beam, alongside a numerical sequence. Each scale includes at least one associated aluminum or light metal pan, with an additional loose pan present. A worn cardboard box, repeatedly marked “REDDING,” is also included.
